Last week, the feds indicted the Non-Profit, Strong City Baltimore, on allegations of money laundering and wire fraud.
One year ago, right here on FOX45, Founder of OpenTheBooks.com Adam Andrzejewski blew the whistle.
He later joined FOX45 Morning News with an update on the case and to share other red flags that may point to more non-profits in the city.
"At the state level, Strong City's Baltimore was not in compliance with Maryland Charitable Solicitation law, at the federal level we couldn't find tax returns for them since 2019," said Andrzejewski. "Then, at the the local level, we couldn't find the records from the city and they wouldn't respond to comment."
