Teenagers have been breaking into closed city swimming pools this summer.
With the extreme heat we've seen this summer, many have questioned why the pools are closed in the first place.
Adam Andrzejewski, CEO of OpenTheBooks.com, joined FOX45 Morning News to take a deep dive into the reason for why city officials are choosing to close the pools.
"There's no reason for this," said Andrzejewski. "We've taken a look at the budget over the course of the last 18 months, last year-and-a-half, and there are millions of federal and state dollars allocated toward keeping the pools open in the city of Baltimore."
