(TND) — A new tool utilizing a chatbot allows anyone to track how their government is spending their tax dollars all the way down to the local level.
Benjamin the Chatbot, named after Benjamin Franklin who appears on $100 bills, can search government spending records for details on how politicians at the federal, state and local levels are using taxpayer funds.
“The American people are gonna be shocked and amazed just how government's money is flowing in every level,” OpenTheBooks CEO Adam Andrzejewski said. “The people, the politicians, the press, the pundits, everybody can use this tool to hold government accountable at every level.”
