WASHINGTON (TND) — Inflation has hit every American in every city but now a new problem is emerging in some cities where budget cuts and staffing shortages mean it's more dangerous to get emergency help.
Many police departments around the country are taking longer to respond to 911 calls.

“There are several factors at play and some can be found in other departments as well.," she said. "This isn't just a Nashville problem, but it's highlighted in Nashville because it's the numbers are so high.”
